Service Delivery Policy

This Service Delivery Policy describes how Varuns University ("Varuns University", "we", "us") delivers its products to customers. Varuns University offers digital services only — no physical goods are manufactured, packaged, or shipped. This document is published to satisfy payment-gateway onboarding requirements and to set clear expectations for our subscribers.
1. Digital-only services
All Varuns University offerings — including the PrepX UPSC preparation product, AI tutor sessions, mock tests, lecture libraries, and analytics dashboards — are delivered entirely over the internet through our web application at prepx.varunshuniversity.live. We do not ship physical books, drives, printed material, or any tangible product. No courier, postal service, or shipping carrier is involved in any transaction with us.
2. Immediate access on payment
For subscription plans and one-time digital purchases, access is provisioned immediately on successful payment confirmation from our payment gateway (Razorpay or Stripe). Typically this happens within seconds; in rare cases it may take up to 30 minutes for the gateway webhook to settle and entitlements to propagate. If you have not received access within 1 hour of a successful payment, write to support@varunshuniversity.live with your transaction reference and we will resolve it on priority.
3. How content & AI features are delivered
- Lecture content: streamed in-browser from our content delivery network. No downloads are required.
- AI tutor & quiz generation: delivered as on-demand interactive sessions inside the PrepX application; computed by our backend AI infrastructure at request time.
- Progress & analytics: stored against your account and rendered on each visit; no separate delivery step is required.
- Notifications: sent via email and, where you have opted in, via web-push.
4. Access continuity during the paid period
For the duration of your active paid period, you may access PrepX from any compatible browser on any device using your account credentials. We do not impose a hard cap on the number of devices, but we may rate-limit or temporarily suspend an account that shows behaviour consistent with credential sharing or automated abuse, in line with our Terms of Service.
5. Availability & uptime expectations
We target high availability on a best-effort basis. PrepX is currently in beta, and we do not offer a formal contractual Service Level Agreement (SLA) at this stage. Scheduled maintenance, if any, will be announced in advance through the in-product banner or email. In the event of a prolonged unplanned outage, we will offer service-credit extensions as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
6. Account access on subscription expiry
When a paid subscription ends and is not renewed, your account enters a 7-day grace period during which you retain full read access to your past notes, attempts, and progress data. After the grace period, your account moves to read-only mode: historical data remains accessible, but AI tutor sessions, new mock tests, and new content downloads are paused until you renew. We do not delete account data on expiry; deletion is governed by our Privacy Policy.
7. Geographic availability
PrepX is offered worldwide over the public internet. Pricing is set in Indian Rupees (INR) by default; international card payments are accepted through our gateway at the prevailing conversion rate. We do not currently restrict access by geography, but local laws in your jurisdiction govern your eligibility to subscribe.
